Sounds like you spoke very well, One thing worth noting ( I worked as an advocate at a university for ten years) is that you are usually allowed to bring a support person or advocate with you to these kinds of meetings. Someone who might hold a list of talking points in case you forgot to mention something, or just be there to bear witness.
