I'm a big fan of hydrogen -- I write a lot about it, especially green hydrogen even though i usually get negative comments...
But I see the lack of refueling as the main pain point. Even countries like France that have hydrogen front and center of their energy plans are lagging.
France has less than 20 public charging stations in operation.
By comparison, there are over 30,000 EV charging stations across the country. It makes the idea of extended range seem rather irrelevant in the case of many of their vehicles such as Renault.
And what’s more, you can’t refuel a hydrogen car at home at night.
To be clear, I want it to succeed, we need the infrastructure to hurry up!
